New to Azure? Begin with Module 00 — Prerequisites for the core vocabulary (cloud computing, networking, identity, and the Azure Portal), then work through Modules 01–05 in order. Each module pairs concept docs with diagrams and hands-on Portal labs.

Core vocabulary every other module assumes: service models, regions, IP/CIDR, AuthN vs. AuthZ, and the Azure Portal.

01 — Identity & Governance

Manage Azure identities and governance

Entra ID, RBAC, management groups & Azure Policy, access control scenarios, and identity best practices.

02 — Networking

Implement and manage virtual networking

VNets & subnets, NSGs, routing, peering, hub-spoke topology, VPN/ExpressRoute, private endpoints, and advanced network security.

20–25% of exam

03 — Compute

Deploy and manage Azure compute resources

Virtual machines, availability sets/zones, scale sets, App Service, containers, and ARM templates / Bicep.

15–20% of exam

04 — Storage

Implement and manage storage

Storage accounts, blob/file/table/queue services, redundancy & replication, lifecycle management, and access control.

10–15% of exam

05 — Monitor & Maintain

Monitor and maintain Azure resources

Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, alerts, backup, and Azure Site Recovery.

💡 Cost Tip

Every lab is Portal-only and ends with a Cleanup step — always run it (delete the resource group) to keep a free/trial Azure subscription's spend near zero.
